CARREFOUR OOSTENDE
The enthusiastic manager of the Carrefour branch in Ostend wanted to go very far in her sustainable ambitions for her renovation. She was supported by Carrefour Belgium and helped by the advice and action plan of BLIEBERG A.C.E. This included: upgrading the demolition and dismantling specifications with circular issues; proposing alternative building materials with a lower CO2 footprint; calculating the cost-impact of the alternatives and their environmental impact. Among other things, the Upfront Carbon and the total Embodied Carbon were calculated, as well as the total environmental impact in mPt according to TOTEM
