Brussels Airport Company (BAC) wants to reduce its CO2 emissions to zero by 2030 (scope 1 and 2 emissions). The realisation of sustainable, energy-efficient buildings is part of this ambition. In order to embed circularity in the real estate strategy, BLIEBERG A.C.E. in collaboration with Alba Concepts has  drawn up the ” Circularity Framework”. This framework sets out the circular criteria that future developments must meet. BLIEBERG A.C.E. also did a “circular upgrade” of the existing standard specifications, and did the calculation of the CO2 footprint of a recently completed building (Upfront Carbon), to serve as a “benchmark” of future developments.
